Job Responsibilities:
- Server operation in the AWS environment
- Monitoring, fault response, and configuration change of various AWS services and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Setting changes through work requests and improvement measures, and checking the impact and planning in advance (AWS service examples: EC2, S3, IAM, Certificate mgr, CloudWatch, TrustedAdvisor.CodeDeploy, SQS, DynamoDB, ElasticChache, ElasticBeansTalk, AutoScalling, Lamda, RedShift, CloudFront, Bastion etc)
- Database operation in AWS environment
- Operation work based on RDS (Aurora/Oracle/SQL Server) procedures, failure response
- Server operation
- In GCP environment - Basic operations from the GCP console, server instance creation, start-up, and status check
- GCP server monitoring (Datedog) Failure response, configuration change (GCP service examples: GCP Console, GCE, CLB, IAM, CloudStorage, File Store, Pub/Sub, CloudScheduler, etc.)
- Operation of operational tools and middleware
- Changing settings of each middleware and tool, and responding to failures
- Operational work based on procedure manuals (Tools and middleware used, e.g., CLUSTERPRO, PowerCenter, DeepSecurity, SoftNAS, RD Licensing, ADFS, CIS, Jenkins, SendGrid, Mail Postfix, Zabbix, Datadog, Ansible, Github/Pulumi, Pacemaker, Jira, Confluence 、etc)
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-cloud environments and operations of the same scale (3~5 years)
- Experience in operation management of AWS/GCP/SendGrid (AWS: 911 EC2 units, ECS 24 units, RDS 152 units, AuroraDB 103 units / GCP: 41 units / SendGrid: 140 users)
- Experience in troubleshooting disasters such as fault isolation, initial response, and permanent response in the event of a cloud environment or server failure
- Experience in checking system performance and usage status, raising issues, and considering solutions
- Experience in implementing initiatives such as automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and quality. •Experience in creating and implementing operational procedures (including creating procedures for offshore)
- Experience in communicating with relevant departments and vendors, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to catch up and apply internal case studies, best practices, and the latest cloud features.
- The ability to have a CCoE perspective and promote effective improvements based on understanding the business situation
- The ability to propose optimal operations using that knowledge
- The ability to propose optimal operations based on experience in similar responses with other customers, Not only in the IaaS and PaaS domains.
- Experience in microservices in the SaaS field is a plus
- Experience in other public clouds as well as AWS/GCP is a plus
- In addition to cloud skills, experience with observability products such as Datadog is a plus
Languages :
- Japanese: Business level or higher (equivalent to JLPT N1/N2)
- English: Reading and writing required; business-level speaking ability preferred
