Job Description

Position Name: IT Infrastructure Support 

Responsibilities:

IT infrastructure support includes full responsibility of the infrastructure including hardware (PCs, printers, network devices, peripheral devices and cloud infrastructure). Reporting to the IT Manager, the role also involves making recommendations on new purchase and replacements.

  • Manage and maintain hardware including setup of PCs , servers ( in the cloud ), printers.
  • Manage and maintain entire network infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain O365 (mainly Office, email accounts and Sharepoint)
  • Suggest and implement any other infrastructure related needs as they arise. 
  • Manage and maintain peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Train the users when needed on use of devices and O365
  • Efficient communication with vendors for outsourced work

Qualification:

  • 7 or more years of experience in IT support.
  • Independently set up and installed hardware and network devices.
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS (client and server), set up of Switches and Routers,
  • DNS/DHCP, PC kitting, backup and restore.
  • Knowledge or experience in setting up O365 (specifically Sharepoint).
  • Native Japanese is a must. English communication will be an advantage.
  • Team player with good communication skills and service-oriented attitude.
