Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and prepare test plans.
- Create and review test cases and test scenarios.
- Co-ordinate and perform testing (functional, regression, smoke testing).
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress.
- Track defects and follow up with developers for fixes.
- Prepare daily/weekly status reports.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Ensure testing is completed within timelines.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Maintain test documentation.
Job Qualifications:
- We are looking for a Junior Test Manager with around 4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate should have basic knowledge of manual testing, understanding of testing processes, and some exposure to automation testing (good to know). The role involves handling small testing teams, coordinating with developers, and ensuring quality delivery of applications.
- Basic Testing Knowledge Required
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke & Sanity Testing
- System Testing
- UAT Support
- Experience in defect tracking tools (like JIRA or similar).
- Basic knowledge of test case writing.
- Understanding of test scenarios and test execution process.
- Ability to identify and report bugs clearly
