Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for designing vehicle steering parts and steering systems. Steering parts and system design will be developed and designed in cooperation with vehicle layout, experiments, factories, purchasing, suppliers, etc., and will be commercialized. In particular, steering is an important part that governs vehicle performance, such as vehicle maneuverability.

Work Examples:

• Steering parts are designed and commercialized using CAD and analysis tools. Quality control and cost management of products released to the market are also important tasks.
• Through design work, we work with the testing department, purchasing and production technology departments to optimize performance, quality and cost. We exchange
• technology with the design departments of Isuzu Motors and Volvo to develop future technologies.
• Steering design takes into account the vehicle layout and vehicle performance, so we can gain knowledge from a wide range of perspectives on the overall performance of the vehicle, including the vehicle's behavior as a whole.

• Education: Graduated from a university in engineering or with equivalent skills. Five years or more of work experience is preferable.
• Work history: Experience in design and development work in the transportation machinery or electrical manufacturing industries. Understanding of the product design and development process.
• Language: Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing and speaking). English skill level is not important, but English will be used in work after joining the company so it is necessary to be able to study.
