Position Name: Cloud Engineer

Description:

• You will be in charge of system construction/operation and functional improvement (SRE work) of services for companies.
• The service you will be responsible for is a cloud-based web service that provides subscribing customers with functions such as automatic transcription of voice calls using high-precision voice recognition AI.
• System construction and operation of cloud services
• General system operation
• Construction and maintenance of AWS environment
• Monitoring, fault handling, investigation of fault causes, and implementation of remedial measures
• Performance improvement and tuning
• Technical verification for problem solving

Qualifications:

• Experience in designing and building infrastructure for web services
• Experience in infrastructure design, construction, and operation in Linux and Unix environments
• Experience in designing, building, and operating infrastructure utilizing public cloud
• Experience in SRE in AWS cloud environment (knowledge of Terraform, Datadog, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of computer science
• Business level Japanese language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing and building database systems such as Oracle and MySQL
• Experience in tuning database systems such as Oracle and MySQL
• Experience with Infrastructure as code
• Experience in system development or operation in a business company
