Position Name: ERP Project Manager Tokyo Job

Responsibilities: 

• Lead projects from requirements definition through to deployment. - Build and develop the project team, motivate, provide direction, ensure deliverables. 
• Identify objectives, scope, schedules, budget estimates, technical feasibility, implementation plans, risk metrics, and mitigation plans.  
• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope, setting quality and performance standards, assessing risks. 
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and agreed plans.   
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope & agreed budgets. 
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. 
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, ensuring cadence.   
• Ability to deal with escalations, resolve issues, find solutions, communicate, escalate as required. 
• Report and escalate to management as needed. 
• Be a problem solver, find a solution to technical and other problems faced by self-learning/ leveraging global resources as required. 
• Provide project status to all stakeholders in a tailored manner, based on the stakeholder requirements.   

Required skills and qualifications:

• 6+ years of project management experience 
• Excellent communication (bilingual- Japanese & English), presentation, interpersonal skills.  
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task. 
• Ability to work at and adapt to a global work culture and environment. 
• Team player with a problem-solving attitude. 
• Background in technology, analysis, management, business skills, budgeting & tracking. 
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2. Native Japanese language skills.
