ERP Consultant

Job Description

Position Name: ERP Consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and delivering business process initiatives, either managing some components of mid-sized initiatives or all components of small initiatives.
• Lead and oversee strategic projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborating closely with user groups to gather and analyze business user requirements.
• Evaluate and respond to business and functional requirements.
• Provide advice and business consultancy on solution design options, impacts of modifications on the existing system, and how to establish and operate related aspects of their business.
• Co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large to small projects to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user friendliness of system enhancement/development.
• Preparing material and providing training and assistance to end users following implementation
• Working as a crucial member of a project team responsible for enhancing existing systems or help developing new system
• Working with the technical teams to assist with support issues raised by the end users to ensure the root cause is identified and resolved either through technical enhancement or end user training.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management, or related field information
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading IT projects
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working closely with business users and supporting them in issue resolution.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in any ERP system/application.
• Knowledge of core Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is a plus though not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Production Support Processes, Development/Release Cycles, related Tools, and documentation is preferred.
• Experience in sports industry is a plus
• Effectively communicates and guides business users by providing functional knowledge of ERP system.
• Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision.
• Solid interpersonal, networking and negotiating skills
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken.
