Responsibilities

• Should have Knowledge of finance and insurance business and business processes
• Strong technology acumen
• EA: Enterprise Architecture knowledge
• Ability to demonstrate pioneering leadership and determine technological direction.
• Ability to work across the enterprise and influence many teams and partners.
• Recognized as an expert in infrastructure and a wide range of network technologies, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-disciplinary collaboration with many partners, including architecture leaders and CTOs. Also possesses a strong strategic mindset.
• Smooth communication skills in Japanese/English (conversation level for facilitation, discussion, negotiation, and consensus building in each language, and ability to create documents for use in formal meetings)

Technology and Infrastructure Architect Shinagawa Job Qualifications:

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience including:
• Experience in infrastructure/systems environment, architecture design, networking, engineering (hardware/software)
• Experience in delivering large-scale technology infrastructure initiatives and having direct architectural accountability for their execution and delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of storage, security, system monitoring, capacity and performance planning and management, application architecture, EA principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of EA is desirable
• Knowledge of finance and insurance business and business processes
• Deep technical knowledge of infrastructure standards and the ability to create and execute a clear enterprise strategic vision for target architectures that support all business and corporate
• Ability to clearly communicate vision and desired state to all layers of the organization, influence adoption of enterprise infrastructure architecture principles, patterns, and standards, and demonstrate progress in technological modernization and optimization.
• Ability to interpret complex business challenges and identify technology solutions while also aligning them with enterprise capabilities.
• An objective, diplomatic team player with excellent collaboration, networking and influencing skills. Also, have a sense of responsibility in building trust/relationships and gain trust from those around you.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in multiple areas and lead them to successful completion through experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, tenacity and the ability to overcome difficulties. Ability to comfortably handle ambiguity and drive through waves of changes.
