Senior Cloud Architect

Job Description

Appaling points:

• Lead enterprise AWS cloud transformation by designing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures while driving large-scale migration initiatives.
• Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, serverless architectures, and cloud automation.
• Take on a strategic technical leadership role by defining cloud best practices, optimizing security and costs, and mentoring engineering teams in a global environment.

Annual Salary : 12 Million and Above

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud architectures
• Lead cloud migration initiatives (on-premise to AWS)
• Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
• Optimize cloud costs and performance
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
  • EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront
• Expertise in cloud architecture design patterns and frameworks
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing)
• Experience in security best practices (encryption, IAM roles, compliance)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Background in Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with data services (Redshift, Athena)
• Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns
• Exposure to FinOps practices

Japanese Language : Fluent level Japanese (N2 level certification) and Business level English.
