Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the cutover strategy, plan, and checklist for SAP ECC migration and associated interfaces.
  • Coordinate pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover activities across functional, technical, and infrastructure teams.
  • Work closely with Japanese business stakeholders to align cutover timelines and minimize operational impact.
  • Ensure data migration readiness, including validation of master and transactional data.
  • Manage dependencies between applications, interfaces, and infrastructure components during cutover.
  • Facilitate mock cutover rehearsals and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the final plan.
  • Track and report cutover progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for execution support and issue resolution.
  • Ensure documentation and sign-off for all cutover activities.
  • Fluent communication in English and Japanese for local business and global teams.
  • Cultural sensitivity for Japan-based stakeholders.
  • Clear documentation and presentation skills.
  • Identify migration risks (downtime, data loss, interface failures).
  • Develop contingency plans and coordinate cutover activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of SAP modules with other systems.

Job Qualification:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
  • 8–10 years of experience in SAP cutover management for large-scale transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC modules (FICO, OTC, PTP) and related interfaces.
  • Experience in cloud migration projects, preferably involving Azure.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in global delivery models with offshore teams.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in healthcare domain or Japan-based SAP projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or similar tools for cutover planning.
  • PMP or similar project management certification

Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business level English
