Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of automation QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction for all automation testing activities.
- Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and test scripts to support
- various types of automated testing (e.g., regression, performance, load).
- Oversee the execution of automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive coverage and timely identi?cation of defects.
- Collaborate with software developers and manual QA engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- Analyze test results, report on automation progress, and optimize tests for maximum ef?ciency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that automation strategies align with project goals and deliverables.
- Drive the adoption of automation best practices and tools within the QA team.
- Provide regular reports on automation initiatives, performance metrics, and return on investment to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA automation process, exploring new tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities.
- Mentor and develop automation QA team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Identify potential risks and delays, reporting them to the PM and QA Manager in a timely manner.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the Manual QA Leads to ensure seamless integration of manual and automated testing efforts, aiming to achieve higher test coverage in less time.
- Identify opportunities where automation can bene?t the team, outlining quick wins and potential candidates for automated tests.
- Effectively present the automation process, tools, and any technical details that clients may require.
- Support sales, project management, and stakeholders by providing relevant information on the automation testing process and setup.
- Provide accurate estimations for automation implementation and maintenance.
- Keep all automation-related tools, training, documentation, and sales decks up to date.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certi?cations in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer).
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Lead or Senior Automation Tester with a strong background in test automation.
- Extensive knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Test Complete, Cypress).
- Experience in scripting and programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Experience leading and managing QA teams, including mentoring and developing team members.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating risks and reporting them to interested parties.
- Proven ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and incorporate new tools and methodologies.

Language proficiency: Native Level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business Level english.
