Job Description

  Appealing Points:

• Lead Large-Scale SAP Transformations Take ownership of full-cycle implementations, including ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations, driving strategic enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Executive-Level & Global Project Management Exposure Act as the primary liaison among business leaders, IT teams, and system integrators while managing budgets, risks, and multicultural delivery teams.
• Engage with Modern SAP & Cloud Strategies Gain experience with RISE with SAP, SAP Activate methodology, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, strengthening your profile as a senior SAP Project Leader.

Annual Salary: 10 million yen and above

Job Responsibilities

• Project Leadership
  • Lead full-cycle SAP implementation projects (ECC to S/4HANA or new implementations).
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and quality deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Act as primary point of contact between business, IT, SAP functional teams, and system integrators.
  • Manage executive reporting, steering committee updates, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Delivery Governance
  • Oversee SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, etc.
  • Ensure proper landscape planning, cutover strategy, and hypercare support.
  • Monitor change requests and transport management in coordination with BASIS team.
• Team & Vendor Management
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Functional, Technical, BASIS, Testing).
  • Manage offshore/onshore resources.
  • Ensure strong collaboration across multicultural teams.
• Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT) are executed properly.
  • Drive quality assurance and compliance standards.
• Change Management (OCM)
  • Lead stakeholder alignment and user adoption strategies.
  • Support training programs and communication planning

Job Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in Project Manager role.
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA landscape and integration.
• Proven experience managing budgets and large delivery teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with Japanese stakeholders preferred.

Preferred Skills

• PMP or Prince2 certification.
• SAP Activate methodology experience.
• Experience with RISE with SAP.
• Exposure to cloud (AWS, Azure, BTP).
• Strong OCM exposure.

Language Proficiency : Business level Japanese (N2) and Fluent level English
