Annual Salary: 7 Million yen and above

Bilingual Embedded Systems Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• Experience in medical device development
• Experience in hemodialysis equipment is a plus
• Experience in designing and developing embedded systems using OS/RTOS on MCU/SoC
• Proficient in requirements analysis, system architecture design, implementation, unit testing, verification and validation
• Experience in developing embedded software for sensor control and motor control 
• Deep understanding of various communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB etc. 
• Familiar with OS concepts, multi-threaded applications, IPC mechanisms, scheduling, memory management
• Basic hardware knowledge on board bring-up and diagnostics
• Experience with hardware debugging tools and interfaces such as JTAG, SWD 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both Japanese and English) and experience collaborating with a team 
• Client correspondence and coordination with offshore development team
• Provide technical guidance to development team, mentor and guide engineers, and be an example of technical excellence

Preferred Requirements

• Familiar with regulatory standards and guidelines on medical product development (IEC62304 / IEC62366 / IEC60601-1-6 / ISO14971) 
• Practical experience as a bridge engineer between on-site and offshore 

Language Skill:  Japanese language skills - business level / JLPT N2 level or above (reading and writing) ・English language skills - business level (communication and presentation skills required
