Position Name: Director Product Engineering Life Sciences Tokyo Job

Annually Salary: 13 million yen and above

Job Description:

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction for product engineering operations in the life sciences sector
  • Develops and implements engineering strategies that align with business objectives and industry trends
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and the latest regulatory requirements in the life sciences sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and translate them into innovative engineering solutions
  • By participating in customer pitches and proposal creation, we contribute to business development efforts
  • Adapt and leverage Company existing solutions for the Japan market
  • Lead and lead a single team of pre-sales, engineers, and project managers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Director Product Engineering Life Sciences Tokyo Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering and at least 5 years in a leadership position
  • Experience in engineering project management in the life sciences sector. Experience in large-scale projects, including overseas, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of standard and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry (e.g., FDA, EMA regulations)
  • Understand product engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proficient in emerging technologies such as SW engineering, AI, IoT, and cloud computing applied to life sciences
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at a senior management level
