Job Description

Position Name: Cisco Product - Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

You will be entrusted with support work to solve problems with Cisco network equipment installed in the following enterprise customer networks .

• router
• network switch
• UCS server
• call manager
• voice gateway
• firewall
• VPN
• AAA
• Wireless access point, etc.

Associate level

• Support for network equipment deployed in customer networks (routers, network switches, firewalls, VPNs, AAA, wireless access points, etc.)
• troubleshooting
• environment settings
• Device analysis and evaluation to check device performance
• Manual creation of procedures for configuration and troubleshooting
• Customer support (documents and conversations)

Associate level, you will be entrusted with the following:

• Complex service activities, remote support, optimization
• Escalation resources for inexperienced agents

In addition to intermediate level duties, you will be entrusted with the following:

• As subject matter experts in the technical field, ensuring end-to-end delivery, interoperability and design

Qualifications: 

• Network support or deployment experience (1-2 years)

Intermediate level

• Network support or deployment experience (3-5 years)

Expert level

• Network support or deployment experience (5-8 years)
• Expertise in at least two of the following technical areas
• security, network switches, routing, service providers, wireless networks.
