• Lead enterprise-grade cloud architecture across AWS and Azure Design and deliver hybrid and multi-cloud solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework and Azure best practices.
• Own security, governance, and cost optimization at scale Drive cloud security, compliance, Infrastructure as Code, and FinOps practices for highly available and scalable environments.
• High-impact advisory role in a bilingual, customer-facing environment Act as a trusted cloud advisor, collaborating with Japanese enterprise customers and internal teams in both Japanese and English.

Annual Salary: 12 Million and above

Responsibilities:

• Design cloud architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and Azure best practices.
• Build hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS and Azure.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, key management, and zero-trust principles.
• Define and enforce governance, tagging standards, and cost optimization (FinOps) models.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on cloud-native best practices.
• Act as a trusted cloud advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Engage with Japan customers and NEC Japan teams in both Japanese and English, including architecture discussions and technical reviews.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with 8+ years of hands-on experience in AWS/Azure and DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken, reading, and writing).
• Proven experience designing highly available, secure, and scalable cloud architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, Databases, Monitoring).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPC/VNet, VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and load balancing.
• Experience implementing cloud security and compliance controls.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualification:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS or Azure Security Specialty certification
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and DevOps automation
• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices
• Prior experience working with Japanese enterprise customers
