Job Description

Position Name: Sr. Software Back End Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team consisting of product managers and engineers to create pragmatic products.
• Help to design and develop highly scalable, available, high performing and consumer friendly APIs and associated Unit Tests to ensure quality of code.
• Highly motivated professional with inter-personal skills to ease communication with our global team
• Enjoy working in a fast paced and engineering focused environment

Qualification:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience using Java Spring / Jakarta EE
• Experience writing unit and integration test.
• Experience in API development with understanding for API design and best practices.
• Experience in database/storage technologies:
• Relational (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc)
• NoSQL (such as MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Conversational level English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with building High Performance and High Availability APIs.
• Kotlin, Spring Boot, Node.js knowledge is a plus.
• Experience using queues and pubsub messaging systems.
• Front end web development knowledge with modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g. TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis)

Languages:

• English level (Overall - 2 - Intermediate)
