Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data Project Manager

Job Description

• Lead large-scale projects end-to-end, from planning and sprint execution to release governance, cutover, and hypercare support
• Drive digital transformation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud across CRM, data platforms, and MarTech/AdTech ecosystems

Annual Salary: 10 million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery: planning, sprint execution, RAID management, change control, and release governance.
• Manage cross‑functional teams (Architects, Dev, QA, Data, Security); coordinate vendors and offshore pods.
• Facilitate requirements, backlog, and prioritization with Marketing/CRM/Data stakeholders; ensure traceability.
• Track and report KPIs/OKRs (time‑to‑market, adoption, activation rates, data readiness, deliverability).
• Enforce governance: data privacy (APPI), consent and preference management, release and environment strategy.
• Drive dependency management across Sales/Service Cloud, Data Platforms, and AdTech; manage contracts and SLAs.
• Produce exec‑ready communications (status, risk posture, decisions), and ensure production readiness (cutover, hypercare).

Job Qualifications:

• 10+ years of project/program management with 3+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud.
• Proven delivery in Agile/Scrum and hybrid models with distributed teams; tooling: Jira/Confluence, ADO.
• Strong stakeholder management in Japan; ability to operate in both Japanese and English.
• Familiarity with MarTech/AdTech, CDP, CRM integrations, data governance, and consent frameworks.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP, CSM/PSM, SAFe preferred.

Language Proficiency: Business level Japanese(JLPT N2), Business Level English
