Job Description

Appealing Points

  • Lead end-to-end design of large-scale datacenter and network infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge virtualization, storage, and backup technologies.
  • Work across major OEM ecosystems—HPE, VMware, NetApp, Dell EMC, and more—while strengthening expert-level skills in SDDC architecture and multi-hypervisor environments.
  • Collaborate with global teams and vendors, enhancing proposal development, solution design, and communication skills in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.

Annual Salary : 12 million yen and above

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer functional and technical constraints as well as expectations from future Datacenter and Network Infrastructure
  • Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for DC design Compute, Storage and backup
  • Develop Architecture, high level and low level physical logical DC, storage and back design drawings and design documents.
  • Liaise with internal technology partners and external vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration to ensure solution completeness
  • Provide design level support to Virtualization & Infra implementation team for project delivery and problem resolutions
  • Understand and analyze detailed BOM of various virtualization and infra solutions from partner OEMs

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Japan citizens and those authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Primary Skills –
  • Expert in technologies - HPE 3Par, Veeam, HP Store once, VCF, VMWare NSX/NSXT Implementation, SAN, NAS, Backup and DR solutions  
  • At least 10 years of experience in on Netapp, Veritas, Dell EMC, Data domain, HPE synergy, Hyper Converged Infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience on at least 2 / 3 Hypervisor (VMware, Hyper-V, OVM, Xen, KVM etc.) technology is desired
  • Comprehensive knowledge on designing Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) based setup using VMware or Microsoft
  • Deep understanding of two or three virtualization platforms VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V & Red Hat RHEV and virtualization techniques, virtual switches, virtual storage, and cloud services modelling
  • Clear understanding of Networking, Blade/Rack Servers & Unified Storages and Converged Systems is required.
  • VMWare Certified Professional -- Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or HP MASE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in software development life cycle
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Language Skills: Business Japanese level with business level English
