Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Ariba, SAP MM, and/or S/4HANA Procurement. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, implementing SAP procurement solutions, and leading transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and procurement governance.

Job Responsibilities:

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process Management

• Lead and support procurement operations: PR/PO processing, goods receipt, invoice verification, contract management, and vendor management.
• Optimize and standardize procurement workflows across global business units.

SAP Solution Design & Implementation

• Perform requirement gathering, fit–gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
• Configure SAP MM/SAP Ariba/S/4HANA Procurement modules based on business needs.
• Lead integration efforts between Procurement, Finance, Inventory, and supplier systems.
• Conduct system testing (SIT, UAT), go-live preparation, and post-go-live support.

Cloud Procurement (SAP Ariba)

• Implement and support Ariba modules: Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle Management.
• Manage Ariba–S/4HANA integration using CIG or middleware.
• Support supplier enablement and catalog management.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Collaborate with suppliers on onboarding, compliance, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
• Improve vendor management workflows, KPIs, and reporting.

Reporting & Data Management

• Create procurement reports and dashboards using SAP tools.
• Conduct spend analysis, risk assessment, and compliance reporting.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and process excellence.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to drive procurement transformation.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as functional SME for procurement processes.
• Provide guidance to junior consultants and offshore teams.
• Conduct training sessions for business users.

Job Qualification:

• 12+ years of experience in SAP Procurement (SAP MM, SAP Ariba, or S/4HANA Procurement).
• Strong knowledge of P2P, sourcing, contract management, and supplier management.
• Hands-on experience in configuring SAP MM or Ariba modules.
• Experience in SAP Ariba cloud procurement implementation is highly preferred.
• Understanding of integrations between MM–FI, MM–IM, Ariba–S/4HANA.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.

Preferable:

• SAP Ariba or SAP MM certification.
• Experience with Ariba CIG/middleware integrations.
• Experience with S/4HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge of indirect and direct procurement processes.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, pharma, or FMCG industries.

Language Skills: Native level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business level English
