Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with a strong background in both Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes to join our SAP rollout team in Japan. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, and a proven track record of successful SAP implementations in a global context. Consultant need to have exeriance in JD Net and Tenon. This role will be instrumental in bridging business requirements with SAP functionalities, ensuring a smooth and effective rollout.
Job Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders in Japan to understand current business processes, identify gaps, and gather detailed requirements for PTP and OTC modules.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure SAP solutions for PTP (MM, Invoice Processing, etc.) and OTC (SD, Pricing, Billing, Revenue Recognition, Credit Management, etc.) processes, ensuring alignment with global templates and local Japanese specificities.
- Gap Analysis & Customization: Perform thorough gap analysis between global templates and local requirements, propose effective solutions, and document necessary customizations or enhancements.
- Manage and resolve issues related to Japanese localization, including consumption tax, JD-NET (Japan Distribution Network), and Tenon (electronic invoicing).
- System Testing: Develop test scenarios, execute functional and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the configured solution meets business requirements.
- Data Migration Support: Collaborate with data migration teams to ensure accurate and timely migration of PTP and OTC relevant master and transactional data.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users in Japan, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption. Create comprehensive functional specifications and other project documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between global project teams, local business users, and external partners. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
- Go-Live & Post Go-Live Support: Provide critical support during go-live and hypercare phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
- Localization Expertise: Advise on and implement Japanese-specific legal, regulatory, and business requirements within SAP PTP and OTC processes.
Job Qualification:
- Minimum of 12+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, with a strong focus on PTP and OTC modules.
- Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Experience in SAP rollout projects, particularly in Asia or Japan, is a significant advantage.
- SAP PTP (Procure-to-Pay): In-depth knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management), including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Master Data (Vendor, Material), Invoice Verification, and integration with other modules. Experience with SRM and/or Ariba integration is a plus.
- SAP OTC (Order-to-Cash): In-depth knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), including Sales Order Processing, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing Procedures, Credit Management, and Revenue Recognition
Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business level English
