Annual Salary : 12 million and above

Job Description:

• We are seeking a seasoned AVS Architect to lead enterprise-grade infrastructure transformations by designing and delivering end-to-end solutions for migrating on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution. This role requires deep technical expertise in VMware and Azure platforms, strong customer engagement skills, and a consultative approach to cloud architecture and migrations

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with program managers and delivery teams to plan and execute complex AVS migration projects.
• Engage directly with customer stakeholders (application, infrastructure, and security) to define architecture, strategy, and processes.
• Design and deploy Azure VMware Solution environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing on-premise systems.
• Stay current on AVS, VMware, and Azure advancements to guide customers and act as a technical mentor to internal teams.
• Create solution documentation, contribute to technical communities, and develop automated self-help tools and training resources.

Job Qualification:

• 12+ years of relevent experience.
• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
• Certifications (preferred):
• VCDX-DCV / VCDX-CMA
• VCP-NV
• CCNP / CCDP
• Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure solution deployments
• Ability to lead projects and manage high-stakes, politically sensitive engagements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
• Visionary approach to infrastructure transformation and onboarding processes

 VMware Technologies:

• VMware vSphere 6.0+
• VMware NSX-T (including DNS, DHCP, gateway/distributed firewall, NSX-v to NSX-T migration)
• VMware vSAN
• VMware HCX (Advanced & Enterprise)
• [Preferred] Site Recovery Manager, vSphere Replication
• [Preferred] VMware suite: vCloud Director, vROps, vRNI, vRLI

Azure Technologies:

• Azure ExpressRoute, VPN
• Azure Virtual WAN, Route Server
• Core Azure networking
• [Preferred] Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files
• [Preferred] Azure Monitor, Arc, Security Center
• [Preferred] 3rd-party network virtual appliances (e.g., firewalls, load balancers)

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Experience with hybrid/cloud migration strategies using VMware HCX
• Strong foundational knowledge in:
• Hypervisors and hardware platforms
• Enterprise networking (Layer 2/Layer 3 fabric topologies)
• Data protection, security, HA, patching, monitoring
• Familiarity with cloud management platforms and compliance standards

Japanese Language: Native Japanese Level (JLPT N) and Business English level
