Bilingual Technical Engineer

Job Description

Appealing Points:

• Bridge Japanese customers and India-based development teams, translating technical requirements and specifications to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Work on the core software design lifecycle, from requirements definition and basic design to technical reviews, troubleshooting, and deliverable validation.
• Strengthen your architecture and technical skills, gaining exposure to Java, software development concepts, technical architecture, and large-scale offshore collaboration.

Annual Salary: 6 Million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze technical requirements from customers.
• Clarify requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Prepare basic design documents in Japanese.
• Coordinate with the offshore development team in India
• Explain technical requirements and specifications to offshore members.
• Support technical issue resolution and troubleshoot challenges.
• Review technical deliverables and ensure requirements are properly addressed.
• Participate in meetings with Japanese customers and internal teams.
• Support communication between Japanese stakeholders and the offshore team.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in requirements definition and/or basic design
• Ability to create and understand technical/design documents in Japanese
• Strong technical understanding of software development concepts
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java is preferred.
• Hands-on Java development experience is not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of programming concepts and technical architecture is required
• English: Conversational communication and reading/writing skills sufficient for collaboration with an offshore India team
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Language Skill:  Businrss level Japanese (JLPT N2) and business level English
