Server Infrastructure Engineer

Annual Salary: 6 Million yen and Above

Job Responsibilities:

• Server Administration & Operations:
  • Manage Windows/Linux servers and storage infrastructure
  • Perform operational maintenance activities including incident management, request handling, and change management
  • Provide incident response outside business hours as required (1–2 times per month, compensatory leave provided)
• Vendor Management:
  • Manage and supervise external vendors performing server operational tasks
  • Infrastructure Data Management:
  • Maintain server hardware inventory
  • Extract and prepare server-related data for internal initiatives
  • Coordinate with other departments and teams on server-related information

Job Qualification:

• Required Experience:
  • Experience as a Windows/Linux Server Administrator
  • Experience managing external vendors
• Examples of Relevant Experience:
  • Manage operations and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers and oversee partners handling incidents and service requests in line with procedures
  • Supervise server operations including procedure review, change management, incident/problem management, and configuration management
  • Ensure a stable and secure server environment

• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of administrative-level commands in Windows OS
  • Knowledge of Red Hat OS / Linux is preferred
  • Ability to apply ITIL principles in server operations
  • Proficiency in Excel (functions and pivot tables)
