Job Description

Annual Salary : 18 million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• You will partner with program managers and service delivery teams to plan, architect, and guide complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers, moving customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.
• You will work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy and processes for successful design, deployment & migrations.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure/AVS and VMware products in order to propose designs to customers and act as subject matter trainer for other specialists.
• Share knowledge with others through solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training.

Job Qualification:

• 15+ years of IT experience and minimum 3 years of experience on Azure VMware Solution and 5+ years of experience on VMware vSphere, Azure cloud services deployments, and cloud migrations.
• Relevant experience in architecting and designing datacentre and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware’s Core Cloud Infrastructure
• Azure VMware Solution 
• VMware vSphere 6.0 and above.
• VMware NSX-T network virtualization technologies.
• NSX edge services (DNS, DHCP, Gateway Firewall, Distributed Firewall) and NSX implementation
• NSX migration from vlan or NSX-v and VMware vSAN
• VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise
• VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication.
• VMware management suite (vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI)
• VMware Cloud Director 
• Experience with on-premises-to-Cloud or cloud-to-cloud migrations with VMware HCX
• Experience with relevant Azure technologies like:
• Azure ExpressRoute and Azure VPN and Azure Virtual WAN and Azure Route Server
• Azure networking and Azure Disk Pools and Azure NetApp Files
• Azure Monitoring and Security technologies (Monitor, Arc, Security Center)
• 3rd party network virtual appliances (firewalls, load-balancers, routers) for Azure and VMware environments.
• Consulting experience with large-scale implementations on Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Azure Infra, Networks, Storage, Apps and Azure DevOps
• Experience in Creating solutions, presenting and articulating winning prepositions for Microsoft Azure and Well versed with cloud architecture styles and design patterns
• Experience in developing cloud migration approaches, defining migration roadmaps and providing estimates
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery
• Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure PaaS Capabilities (App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure
• Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
• Understands setting up Monitoring and diagnostics on Azure for a web application
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, & Bash etc., 
• Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.)
• Strong core platform architecture concepts including hardware platform, hypervisor, Networking, security, data protection, high availability, monitoring & alerting, patching etc.
• A good understanding of datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed, both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based is highly desired.

 Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific solutions and deployment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future.
• Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations, to lead projects and to motivate others.

Japanese Language: Native Japanese Level (JLPT N) and Business English level
