Job Description:
- This role is part of a strategic transformation initiative for a Japan-based healthcare organization. The consultant will focus on OTC processes during the migration of SAP ECC and its interfaces to Azure Cloud, ensuring functional alignment and compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead OTC(Order-to-Cash Process) functional stream during SAP ECC migration to Azure Cloud.
- Conduct FIT-GAP workshops with Japanese business stakeholders to assess procurement and payment processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of PTP modules with other systems.
- Support interface migration, including EDI integrations for purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications.
- Work with Japanese business users to gather requirements, validate testing scenarios, and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with offshore teams for development, testing, and issue resolution.
- Assist in test planning, execution, and defect management for PTP functionalities.
- System Testing: Develop test scenarios, execute functional and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the configured solution meets business requirements.
- Data Migration Support: Collaborate with data migration teams to ensure accurate and timely migration of PTP and OTC relevant master and transactional data.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users in Japan, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption. Create comprehensive functional specifications and other project documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between global project teams, local business users, and external partners. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
- Go-Live & Post Go-Live Support: Provide critical support during go-live and hypercare phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability.
- Localization Expertise: Advise on and implement Japanese-specific legal, regulatory, and business requirements within SAP PTP and OTC processes.
Job Qualification:
- SAP OTC consultant with 8-10 years of experience and strong understanding of Sales order management, delivery, billing, and invoicing. Pricing procedures, condition techniques, and tax configurations
- Good working experience in all the major areas of OTC , Master Data Customer master, material master, pricing master , partner functions and accounts group
- SD integration with FI (Finance) for billing and accounting.
- SD integration with MM (Materials Management) for stock and delivery.
- Strong Japanese and English communication skills.
- Good Knowledge in other SAP functional areas – Finance, ABAP debugging will be added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with EDI integration (e.g., IDocs for PO, invoice, GR).
- Experience in cloud migration projects, preferably involving Azure.
- Good working experience in onsite-offshore model.
Nice to have:
- SAP HANA Certified in SD
- Domain experience in sales /pricing background
