Position Name: AWS Build Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary: 8 Million and above

Responsibilities

• As an AWS Build Engineer, you will be closely working with AWS Cloud Presales & Practice teams supporting new solution development, latest assets & accelerators that are market differentiators for our cloud offerings
• Work closely with existing delivery teams to achieve distinctive, lasting & substantial business improvements through the adoption of emerging technologies in cloud
• Collaborate with GTM teams, Presales team to execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for existing & potential customers
• Identify potential use cases to automate & optimize existing processes
• Articulate and present project demos to leadership teams 

AWS Build Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

Primary Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field
• experience in AWS cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design and implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS 
• AWS Solution Architect Certification (Professional level) highly desired
• Excellent presentation & communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS, EMR, S3, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, WAF, Config, GuardDuty, Inspector, Cognito) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security
• Experience in building and maintaining an opinionated set of security controls tailored for regulated industries, using AWS Control Tower & SCP (Service Control Policies)
• Experience in setting up multi-account environments following best practices, AWS account vending machine, AWS Service Catalog
• Knowledge & experience of monitoring, logging and cost management tools that integrate with AWS
• Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production and non-production platforms
• Familiarity with monitoring & management tools such as Systems Manager, Splunk etc.
• Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on AWS for different regions
• Experience with containers and HA clusters; experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Secondary Skills

• Strong Experience in developing Terraform Scripts, CloudFormation templates for automated Infrastructure provisioning
• Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration Management technologies such as Docker, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
• Strong experience on PaaS solutions leveraging serverless (Lambda, Step Functions, Fargate) architectures including enabling services such as API Gateway, SNS/SQS

Japanese Languages: Business level Japanese(N2) and business level English required
