Job Description

 Appealing Points:

• Own Enterprise GCP Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Design and build reusable Terraform modules and Ansible automation to manage large-scale GCP environments including GKE, IAM, networking, and databases.
• Drive End-to-End Cloud Automation & CI/CD – Integrate infrastructure workflows into modern CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or GitLab CI to enable fully automated cloud provisioning and deployment.
• Build Secure, Scalable Cloud Platforms – Collaborate with security and platform teams to implement least-privilege IAM, compliance controls, and reliable infrastructure operations across enterprise GCP systems.

Annual salary: 7 Million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure including GKE, Cloud SQL, Networking, IAM, and GCS
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and operational automation
• Own the end-to-end cloud delivery pipeline: provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment to production
• Integrate Terraform and Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Implement GCP IAM policies as code, enforcing least-privilege access and separation of duties across environments
• Manage Terraform state backends using GCS and enforce module versioning and registry standards
• Perform infrastructure drift detection and remediation using Ansible and Terraform plan workflows
• Build reusable, well-documented Terraform modules and Ansible collections for use across delivery teams
• Collaborate with security teams to embed compliance controls into infrastructure pipelines
• Support GKE cluster provisioning and day-2 operations using Terraform and Helm
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide IaC recommendations for new GCP workloads
• Contribute to internal developer platform tooling for self-service cloud provisioning

Job Qualification:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong IaC focus
• Expert-level Terraform skills including module development, remote state, workspaces, and provider management
• Strong Ansible experience including roles, inventories, dynamic inventories, and Ansible Vault
• Solid GCP knowledge covering core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL
• Experience managing GCP IAM programmatically using Terraform
• Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD integration for infrastructure pipelines
• Understanding of GCP networking: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and DNS
• Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting

Preferred Skills:

• Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification
• Experience with Packer for VM image automation
• Familiarity with GCP-native development and serverless services (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Experience with Vertex AI infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Knowledge of policy-as-code tools such as OPA, Sentinel, or Checkov

Language Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) and Business level English
