Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to manage and coordinate international A2P (Application-to-Person) and P2P (Person-to-Person) SMS business operations.
- This pivotal role will act as the primary contact for aggregators, mobile network operators (MNOs), and other partners. The position focuses on critical partner coordination, efficient traffic management, and seamless operational execution for both the Japanese and broader international markets. While not strictly required, prior telecommunications technical knowledge would be a significant advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting Management Decision-Making
- Organizing and designing management agendas and issues collecting, organizing, and structuring information necessary for decision-making creating materials for executives and department heads supporting consensus building through the organization of anticipated issues and concerns managing the progress of decisions and promoting their implementation.
- Promoting Cross-Departmental Projects
- Supporting the launch of important projects (designing objectives, KPIs, organizational structure, milestones, and decision-making points) visualizing and managing progress, risks, and dependencies coordinating with stakeholders, resolving issues, and handling escalations organizing and promoting issues that span multiple departments.
- KPI Management: Analyzing business challenges;
- unifying KPI definitions, setting goals, and creating monitoring mechanisms analyzing business challenges, including marketing planning and supporting the implementation of improvement measures and promoting continuous improvement, including effect measurement.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders and driving projects forward with a focus on deadlines and quality
- Experience in organizing and analyzing issues based on data and facts to derive insights and improvement proposals skills in creating documents using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Experience in identifying issues and dependencies within one's area of responsibility and proactively moving forward and a strong interest in business process improvement, systematization, and business reform.
- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency (TOEIC 600 or equivalent)
- Experience in one of the following areas: business planning, project planning, sales planning, PMO, or process improvement ;
- Experience in KPI design and operation, budget management
- Experience in cross-departmental coordination and consensus building
- Experience in marketing-related tasks (customer acquisition, CRM, campaign planning, channel analysis, etc.)
- Experience in process improvement using AI and automation (generative AI, RPA, BI, business flow design, requirements definition, etc.)
- knowledge and understanding of the mobile and telecommunications industry(lines, terminals, networks, customer support, sales, base stations, etc.).
Language Proficiency: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) and Business level English.
