Power BI Technical Lead

Job Description

• Data visualization and analysis (healthcare/logistics, etc.)
• Development of BI dashboards for various commercial and non-commercial uses
• Data analysis using BI
• Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze data visualization requirements
• Lead the design and development of scalable BI solutions across multiple departments
• Develop interactive dashboards using slicers, filters, tools, and bookmarks
• Work closely with data engineers to optimize data flow in the reporting layer
• Define and implement BI governance, workspace structure, and access control
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers

Qualifications:

• Approximately 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing BI dashboards and the ability to lead/mentor a team.
• Extensive experience in BI dashboard development (end-to-end), designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and parameter-driven dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and advanced SQL for BI scripting and data extraction
• Experience developing semantic data models and integrating multiple data sources.
• Experience optimizing PowerBI reports for performance and large datasets.
• Understanding DWH concepts, such as Snowflake schemas to support efficient reporting.
• Deep understanding of BI services, workspace management, user access, and security configuration.
• Communicating with clients and translating requirement
• Experience working in a bilingual Japanese/English environment
• Other experience developing BI dashboards.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub, JIRA, and Agile.
• Experience and knowledge in the medical, logistics, or chemical industries. 

Languages : Business japanese level and business level english.
