Annual Salary: 8 Million Yen and above

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Japan and globally to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Design Thinking & Application Development
  • Apply design thinking methodologies to create user-centred application designs.
  • Facilitate workshops to ideate, prototype, and validate solutions with end-users.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of business requirements into application design.
• Stakeholder Management
  •  Act as a liaison between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Provide clear communication and documentation in both Japanese and English.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to influence decision-making.
• Project Leadership
  • Lead business analysis activities across multiple projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of requirements and design artefacts.
  • Support testing, training, and change management initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Business Analyst, preferably in application development projects.
• Fluency in Japanese (native) and English.
• Strong knowledge of design thinking principles and practical application in IT projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with enterprise applications.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Design Thinking.
• Experience working with Japanese clients or multinational organizations.

Japanese Languages: Fluent Japanese level (JLPT N1) and business level english required
