Job Description

Appealing Points:

• Hands-On Nutanix HCI Architecture & Implementation Leader Design and deploy Nutanix clusters (AOS/AHV/ESXi) including sizing, lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise environments.
• Performance Optimization & High Availability Expertise Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, DR integration, and root-cause analysis to ensure resilient, stable operations.
• Operational Excellence & Cost Efficiency Champion Enhance monitoring, automation, and licensing optimization to improve resource utilization, reduce incidents, and control infrastructure costs.

Annual Salary:8 Million yen and above

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Nutanix clusters (AOS, AHV/ESXi), storage policies, networks, and protection domains.
• Perform cluster sizing, capacity planning, node addition/removal, and lifecycle management (LCM).
• Integrate with backup/DR tools, micro-segmentation, and monitoring (Prism Central).
• Lead performance tuning (I/O, CPU/memory, storage); troubleshoot and root-cause analysis.
• Develop HLD/LLD, configuration standards, SOPs, and automation scripts (where applicable).
• Run PoCs, upgrades, and firmware patching with minimal downtime; validate rollback plans.
• Train operations teams; support incident response and problem management during stabilization.
• Advise on licensing/feature optimization to control costs.

Job Qualification:

• 6–10+ years in virtualisation/HCI with 4+ years hands-on Nutanix (AOS/AHV/Prism).
• Experience with VMware integration, networking (VLANs, LACP), and storage concepts (RF, erasure coding).
• Strong troubleshooting; familiarity with performance tools/log analysis.

Preferred Skills/Certifications

• Nutanix NCP/NCM/MCS certifications.
• Experience with automation (REST APIs, PowerShell), and backup tools (Veeam/Commvault).
• Knowledge of security hardening and compliance in HCI.

• Cluster stability (MTBF/MTTR); reduction in performance incidents.
• Successful upgrades with zero/near-zero business impact.
• Right-sizing and resource utilization efficiency.
• Documentation quality and operational readiness.
• Cost optimization via license/features and consolidation.

Japanese languages:  Business level Japanese (N2) and business-level English required.
