Automotive Project Management Expert

Job Description

Annual salary: 8 Million and above

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with clients (Tier 1) to gather information on requirements, current status, and challenges
• Organize collected information and compile it into project plans and related materials
• Design project-related meetings (including agenda creation), facilitate proceedings, prepare minutes, and consolidate outcomes
• Identify project challenges and risks, and consider/propose solutions
• Coordinate with stakeholders, manage progress, and create reporting materials
• Research industry standards and best practices as needed and incorporate them into plans

Job Qualification:

• Project management experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing (3+ years)
• Experience negotiating and interviewing clients
• Meeting design and facilitation skills
• Practical experience in issue and risk management
• High communication proficiency in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
• Document creation skills using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualification

• Knowledge of ADAS or in-vehicle system development
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMBOK, PMP)
• Consulting experience
• Experience in data analysis or requirements definition

Language Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
