Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of ADAS features for clients, including the development of driving/parking/interior sensing features and perception algorithms (radar, video, ultrasonic sensors).

Job Qualifications:

  • Highly experienced software developer with technical leadership skills and at least 5 years of experience in embedded software development in the automotive industry
  • ADAS software development expertise and solid knowledge of ADAS-specific processes
  • Strong knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, ASIL, ISO26262, ASPICE
  • Proven competence in vehicle protocols CAN, LIN and Ethernet
  • Experience managing and executing the entire software development lifecycle process, including software requirements analysis, software architecture design, software development, configuration, and integration.
  • Understanding of agile principles, methodologies, execution and delivery
  • Strong communication skills in both Japanese (reading/listening/writing/speaking at least business level) and English (reading/listening/writing/speaking at least business level)
  • Ability to drive the selection and implementation of appropriate technical or architectural decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
  • A keen and flexible attitude towards learning, and support for the development of younger colleagues through mentoring etc.
  • Possess systematic thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Programming languages: at least C and C++
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and standard CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Basic skills in MS Office tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
