Job Description

- Strategic SAP landscape management role across project and BAU environments Manage complex SAP S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring clear separation and smooth convergence between project and BAU systems.

Responsibilities:
- Project Landscape Management:
- Manage the SAP project landscape (PRJ-DEV, PRJ-QAS, etc.) to support ongoing project developments.
- Ensure proper isolation of project activities from the BAU landscape while facilitating cross-landscape coordination when necessary.
- Plan and manage system refreshes and client copies for the project landscape.
- Change and Transport Management:
- Oversee the transport management process between the project development, quality assurance, and production systems.
- Collaborate with the SAP Change Manager to ensure synchronization and retrofitting of changes between the BAU and project environments.
- Maintain strict version control of project-specific developments to ensure a smooth merger into the BAU production system.
- Integration and Retrofit Coordination:
- Develop and implement a robust strategy for retrofitting changes between the BAU and project landscapes.
- Work closely with functional teams to test and validate retrofitted changes to avoid conflicts at the time of convergence.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all changes and retrofits.
- Others:
- Collaborate with the Testing teams to ensure thorough testing (unit, integration, UAT) of all project-related changes in the project systems and regression testing in BAU system.
- Act as the key point of contact between the project development teams, BASIS, and the BAU teams.
Job Qualification:
- 7+ years of experience managing SAP landscapes, with specific experience in project implementations and multi-environment management.
- Proven experience in SAP transport management, system integration, and environment strategy, ideally in an N + 1 landscape.
- Fluency in English (Japanese is a plus)
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) is a plus.
- ITIL or PMP certification is a plus.
- Technical skills:
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA system landscape, and SAP BASIS administration.
- Expertise in SAP transport and change management processes.
- Experience with managing hybrid environments, including cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, BTP).
- Soft skills:
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and ensure project timelines are met.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage technical teams and collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders.

Language Skills: Business level English (Japanese is a plus)
