Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Planning and managing strategic measures to prevent data breaches from within the organization

  • A strategy to detect and prevent the following, looking at the movement of people into and out of the Group's organization:
  • a. Unauthorized introduction of trade secrets
  • b. Unauthorized removal or disclosure of confidential internal information
  • Focusing on company, developing and managing strategies to prevent:
  • a. Unauthorized use of IT assets (devices, networks, cloud assets)
  • b. How to efficiently detect, prevent, and deal with a
  • Developing and managing data destruction and loss prevention programs for internal users, partners, and vendors

2. Develop and implement processes to manage insider cyber threats:

  • Based on the system for detecting insider threats that has already been implemented, establish a process for carrying out the strategic implementation described in 1 (establishment of a cross-organizational process for detection, deterrence, and treatment)
  • Regular implementation of the above process
  • Leading a cross-organizational meeting to combat internal threats
  • Formulating necessary internal regulations and documentation
  • Planning and supervision of training programs to prevent insider threats in cooperation with system subsidiaries
  •  Regular reporting to the department head on a series of processes

3. Technical Lead:

  • With the mindset that "today's security technology will be outdated tomorrow," we question conventional methods such as fraud detection, and explore, investigate, and test core technologies and methods to incorporate innovative internal cyber technologies into organizations.
  • Work alongside the security team to combat external threats, avoid silos in anomaly detection and data accumulation, and implement strategic activities to merge external and internal technologies.
  • Planning and implementing product and service evaluations with team members, and then refining them into next-generation systems

4. Management Operations:

  • At this time, we expect to have a few subordinates (to be hired separately), and you
  • will be responsible for managing them (all general employees at our company are union members).

Job Qualification:

  • 5+ years of broad experience in information security and experience as a manager (managerial position with subordinates)
  • Strategic level work in cybersecurity (strategy planning, deployment, and management)
  • Management-level experience in responding to internal cyber threats
  • Experience in investigating insider risks
  • Experience in managing budgets in your own organization as a manager

Abilities and Aptitudes:

  • Those who have experience in all or part of the work described in the job responsibilities.
  • Due to the nature of the job, we are looking for someone who can act autonomously, fairly, and honestly.
  • This position is best suited to a self-starter who can ignite challenges.
  • It is best to have a mindset that allows you to tackle tasks that fall outside of the bounds of your set work.
  • Mental strength to work at full speed under great pressure at times (but not all the time)
  • People who are comfortable formulating strategies from the perspective of "preventing fraud rather than punishing it" or who have experience in this field.
  • A strong desire to establish a career with the brand.

Preferred:

  • CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
  • Experience in anomaly detection and analysis using UEBA
  • Experience in log investigation and analysis using SIEM
  • Experience in internal auditingRequired

Language Skills: Native level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business level English
