Job Description

Position Name: AWS Cloud Application Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary: 7 Million and above

Responsibilities:

• Manage the project delivery process, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting & invoicing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams within engineering, to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide regular project updates to customers and internal stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments, and progress reports
• Manage and escalate project risks and issues to internal stakeholders and customers, define & drive risk mitigation & contingency plan, ensuring timely resolution

AWS Cloud Application Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience in related fields
• Personal credibility in front of customers is essential
• Experience in managing project in Cloud & Virtualization technologies (AWS preferred)
• Experience in managing/ planning project that leverage Cloud Platform Services, Applications, Monitoring Services in areas that require optimization.
• Ability to incept innovative practices especially adopted in Hyper Scaler Market (MLDevOps ,Automation, AI/ML) that promotes team collaboration operational efficiencies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English
• Facilitate smooth conversation across regions especially when teams in locally speak Japanese only and teams offshore speak English only.
• Extensive hands on experience delivering enterprise-level IT consulting projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects
• Experience with Agile and Project Management toolsets (e.g. Miro, Jira, RallyDev)
• Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items
• As part of your role, you will need to travel to customers' site(s) and/or internal events when required. 

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Project management certifications (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.)
• AWS / Cloud Experience and Certifications

Japanese Languages: Native level Japanese (JLPT N) and business-level English required
