PLM Project Manager

Job Description

Annual Salary:  8 million and above

Responsibilities:

• Basic PLM configuration, system design, implementation, implementation verification and troubleshooting
• PLM implementation, configuration and setup, integration with existing IT environments such as ERP, CAD, CAE, data migration
• Responsible for upgrading, modifying, and changing existing PLM functions, and developing add-on functions
• Providing technical consulting services and support for technical questions related to PLM solutions
• Technical consulting on system expansion, maintenance, and operation design. May also include activities as a technical training instructor.
• In addition to the above, job responsibilities may be expanded depending on individual skills, experience and language proficiency.

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IT systems and 5+ years of practical experience in PLM
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing operations
• PLM technical experience
• Experience in PLM project management (any type of PLM)
• Documentation skills
• Japanese: Proficient (Able to work in a Japanese environment, including reading and writing)
• English: Daily conversation level or above (able to reply to simple emails and communicate with foreign staff)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in design and development, production and manufacturing operations, or consulting experience
• Experience managing medium-sized (10-50 man-months) or larger projects
• PMP certification holders
• Advanced or bilingual English language skills
• System development experience (Web-based (.js/HTML)
