HIL Engineer

Job Description

Position Name: HIL Engineer, Tokyo. 

Responsibilities:

• As the person responsible for configuring product estimates, you will be the exclusive estimator for HIL products.
• For customers who wish to perform model-based development (mainly automobile manufacturers and suppliers), we will create estimates for HIL products based on information from sales engineers who have interviewed them about technical issues.
  We provide planning and consulting support to enable our sales engineers to create the optimal plan for our customers through the estimate structure we have created.
• To ensure accurate product configuration, we collect missing information across departments and, if necessary, contact engineers at our German headquarters. Depending on the content, you may also have to interact directly with the customer.
• You can acquire a wide range of knowledge about automobiles and grow into an all-around engineer.
• Customers are mainly engineers involved in selection and development in manufacturers' R&D teams. It is possible to be involved in cutting-edge automobile development.
• Since you use English on a daily basis, you will be able to work in a global environment.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of electronic/electrical circuits (analog, digital, PWM)
• Project management experience (experience with customers and collecting information across departments)
• Science background (information, electricity, physics, mechanics) (Technical college graduate) , university graduate, graduate school graduate).
• Experience using Matlab/Simulink
• Experience using HIL
• Experience in developing automotive ECU or embedded system ECU.
