Job Description

This is the operation and development manager role for non-ERP (EDI, Java/Web, OA) applications, in the peripheral and manufacturing apps part of a complex AMS team.

Job Responsibilities

• Operation and log monitoring of EDI transmission/reception and Web/OA applications
• Incident reception, Java/Web/interface failure analysis, and recovery/RCA
• Interviews with business departments, and design, implementation and testing of minor modifications
• Investigation of EDI transaction data inconsistencies and connection errors
• Improvement of monitoring and alerts, and consideration of operation automation and AI application
• Change management, release and audit trail preparation
• Deliverables: design/source code, failure records, test results, operation procedures

Required Qualifications

• Java/Web application development and maintenance experience
• SQL and log analysis
• HTTP/API/Batch/interface integration
• Basic knowledge of EDI
• Incident response through to production release
• SDLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Spring-based development
• JavaScript
• EDI (X12/EDIFACT, etc.)
• SAG/middleware
• Monitoring tools
• ServiceNow
• Operational automation/AI utilization

Language Proficiency: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) and Business level English.Proficiency in two of Japanese, Chinese or English.
