Job Description

This is a Field Application Engineer (FAE) position at a global Top 10 semiconductor manufacturer. The FAE provides technical support to customers, primarily focusing on power semiconductors, the core product line, and works in collaboration with global development teams. The area of responsibility is power supply systems (analog/digital circuits) using power semiconductors.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for systems utilizing power semiconductor products
• Propose and provide technical support to customers regarding power supply solutions for AI servers
• Go beyond product-level support by offering technical proposals and problem-solving solutions from a system/application perspective
• Support the customer's design and development in collaboration with the development team
• Provide technical support for power semiconductors related to the rapidly expanding AI data centers

Required Qualifications

• Application engineer experience (5 years or more) related to power supply circuits
• Technical support experience related to power semiconductors (5 years or more)
• Experience in customer service and technical support in B2B business
• Technical college or university graduate or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI servers and power architectures
• Design of power supply circuits using power semiconductors
• Development experience
• Semiconductor business experience
• Knowledge of AI or experience using AI tools
• Experience working, studying, or being assigned to an overseas post

Language Required: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
