Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Appealing Points:

• Hands-On Mechanical Design & CAD – Create 3D models, assembly drawings, and installation manuals using advanced CAD tools for manufacturing projects.
• Global Engineering Exposure – Collaborate with suppliers and support domestic and international installation activities through on-site travel.
• Develop End-to-End Manufacturing Solutions – Contribute to design documentation, drafting, and process automation using Excel Macros to improve engineering efficiency.

Annual Salary: 5 Million yen and Above

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of internal assembly/adjustment instructions and on-site installation manuals
• Creation and modification of 3D models, and preparation of component drawings based on those 3D models
• Communication with suppliers

Job Qualifications:

• Preparation of assembly and part drawings from 3D models
• 3D CAD modeling and drafting Knowledge
• Engineers must be ready to travel domestically and overseas
• Operation Automation by Excel Macro
• Engineer must have 2-3 years’ experience in Japan

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Drawing reading skills with bill of materials and specifications
• Knowledge of GD & T symbols and usage of application

Language Skill: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English (not mandatory)
