QA Senior Software Engineer

Annual Salary: 8 Million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Looking for a 3+ years of experience Senior Software Engineer with QA experience who can work with the Software Function Development Department of Etch equipment manufacturer to support the following activities.
• Execute end-to-end Software QA and Quality Analysis to ensure all releases meet rigorous technical standards
• Provide high-level Development Support by identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting code-level defects.
• Design and maintain automated testing scripts and internal tools to improve software deployment cycles
• Develop custom VBA macros and scripts to automate data validation and streamline quality reporting workflows
• Collaborate with the development team to perform root cause analysis and assist in refining software performance
• The person should work at the at customer’s location along with the customer team
• Projects usually involve collaboration with team members from different locations

Job Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional Software Development experience with a deep understanding of the coding lifecycle
• Advanced expertise in VBA for creating robust automation and development support utilities
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting to build and manage automated test environments
• Strong foundation in Software QA principles and experience across manual and automated testing frameworks
• Communication skills in Japanese, with the ability to explain complex concepts

Nice to have:

• Consistent development experience from PoC to production deployment
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office tools like MS Excel, MS Word 

Language Skill:

• English – Not mandatory
• Japanese – JLPT N2 Level or above
