System Engineer electronic component

Job Description

Appealing Point:

• Play a key role in securing and developing advanced E/E systems, contributing directly to next-generation vehicle functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, quality, manufacturing, and system engineers, gaining strong end-to-end product exposure.
• Drive impactful risk management and system design decisions using industry-standard tools and processes in a structured engineering environment.

Annual Salary: 5 million yen and above

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that electronic component and vehicle function development are performed to secure the E/E system in accordance with defined development processes and methods.
• Plan and monitor development activities and deliverables in each project, regularly follow up on progress, and escalate issues requiring support from line or project management.
• Perform risk management of development activities by continuously identifying risks within the project scope using appropriate tools (risk analysis, FMEA, dependability analysis, etc.) and proactively communicating risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and appropriate communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Ensure that product design documents are reviewed and released in accordance with defined processes.

Job Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years’ experience or more in Electrical & Electronics area or equivalent
• Knowledge in Systems engineering
• Knowledge of the system design processes and tools
• Knowledge in hardware and software architectures
• Good communication and documentation skills

Japanese language: Fluent level Japanese (N1) and Business English required.
