• Build the core orchestration platform for production-grade 5G on Kubernetes Design and develop highly reliable, high-performance orchestration components supporting large-scale 5G deployments, working deep within Kubernetes CSI, CRI, and CNI layers.
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges at scale Leverage Go, Python, Rust, or C++ to design application lifecycle workflows, optimise cluster resource planning, and debug complex distributed system issues in real production environments.
• Collaborate with a world-class global engineering team Work with an international team across the US, India, and Japan, alongside engineers from top technology companies, while mentoring others and contributing to documentation and product direction.

Annual Salary: 6 Million and above

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop core components of the orchestration stack which is responsible for production 5G deployments and guarantees high performance and high reliability (consider a lot of 9’s)
• Work in Kubernetes CSI, CRI and CNI layers.
• Design and develop application lifecycle workflows required for running production-grade networking applications on Kubernetes.
• Design and develop features required for application deployment, management, upgrades, backups, etc.
• Handle customer issues/escalations in a timely manner and provide RCA/workaround/fixes as expected.
• Design, develop and maintain licensing features required for the product. Build tools to provide insights based on licensing data.
• Provide application lifecycle features independent of their mode of deployment, viz. Robin bundles, Helm charts, operators, Kubernetes yamls.
• Design, develop and maintain pod/storage planning in the cluster to make best use of available resources while considering application needs.
• Understand various Kubernetes features and come up with a strategy for how to best integrate with those features.
• Guide new team members and help them get onboarded. Also, mentor fresh graduates to achieve their development goals.
• Provide the content to the documentation team about various product features.

Job Qualification

• 12 Personal team spread across the USA, India and Japan 
• Team contains people from Veritas, Cisco, Tintri and Microsoft 
• Python, Go or RUST
• Computer Science Bachelor’s with 3+ years or Master’s with 1+ years
• Have 1-10 years of experience.
• Skilled in Go, Python, C++, Rust, or similar languages
• Expert in system design and distributed systems
• Have in-depth knowledge of the Kubernetes stack.
• Very strong in debugging distributed systems issues
• Deep understanding of systems, operating systems 
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Having experience working with Kubernetes AND C or Go or RUST, public clouds, or contributing to Kubernetes is a bonus!
• Fully proficient in written and spoken English

Languages Proficiency:  No JLPT Required and Business-level English.
