Job Description

Annual Salary:8 Million yen and above

Responsibilities

• Develop current-state assessment and target-state architecture (logical/physical diagrams, reference architectures).
• Define standards for compute (x86), storage (SAN/NAS/HCI), virtualization (AHV/ESXi), and backup/DR.
• Create capacity planning, performance baselines, and growth models; right-size to balance cost and resilience.
• Lead technology selection and PoCs; evaluate build vs. buy vs. cloud options.
• Establish design patterns for HA/DR (RPO/RTO), micro-segmentation, and compliance controls.
• Produce HLD/LLD, migration runbooks, and acceptance criteria; govern design adherence during execution.
• Collaborate with network/security/cloud architects on end-to-end solutions and integrations.
• Support operational handover: SOPs, monitoring/observability, documentation.

Job Qualification:

• 8–12+ years in infrastructure architecture with hands-on DC design and migrations.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), storage systems, backup/DR (Veeam/Commvault), and server platforms.
• Strong understanding of ITSM, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Skills/Certifications

• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
• Nutanix NCP/NCM, VMware VCP/VCDX; vendor storage certs (Dell/NetApp/HPE).
• Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and hybrid patterns.

KPIs/Success Metrics

• Architecture alignment to business outcomes and cost targets.
• Design compliance; % deviations vs. approved standards.
• Performance improvements post-transformation.
• DR readiness (tested RPO/RTO).
• Quality of documentation and handover completeness.

Japanese languages:  Business level Japanese (N2) and business-level English required.
