IT Operation Manager

Job Description

Annual Salary: 7 million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

SaaS & Access Management

• Administration: Manage full lifecycles (creation, access control, closure) for core tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, SmartHR, MoneyForward suite, and Zoom etc
• Auditing: Conduct monthly IT audits across all platforms to ensure compliance and security.
• Support: Act as the primary consultant for internal access issues, permissions, and tool integration requests.

Hardware & Device Management (MDM)

• Procurement & Onboarding: Oversee the procurement and setup of MacBooks and iPhones using Apple Business Manager.
• Asset Lifecycle: Manage device upgrades, repairs (Apple Store coordination), and secure data wiping for off-boarding members.
• Office Infrastructure: Maintain office network and VPN, monitors, and peripherals.
• Connectivity: Manage corporate SIM card contracts (Docomo/Softbank) and eSIM troubleshooting.

Security & Strategic Projects

• Security Oversight: Lead company-wide IT security initiatives and policy enforcement.
• MDM Migration: Lead the project to migrate our device management from Kandji to Simple MDM.
• Asset System Build: Design and implement a scalable asset management system to replace our current Notion database.

Job Qualification:

• Proven experience in IT Operations or System Administration (Required)
• Expertise in macOS environments and Mobile Device Management (MDM) workflows
• Experience administering SaaS suites (Google Workspace, Slack, SmartHR, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of office networking (Wi-Fi, Routers) and IT security best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage hardware inventory and audits.
• Japanese language proficiency is a non-negotiable prerequisite for this position, alongside the other listed qualifications.

Language Proficiency: Business Level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business Level English.
