Responsibility
- The Solutions Development Department at Client is responsible for developing models and algorithms which produce insights using multiple sources of data, including our own satellite data. To do this, we develop an analytics platform to produce geoscience insights efficiently and easily
- Design and develop infrastructure for software solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Develop and maintain a monitoring mechanism for our solutions
- Optimize Cloud usage costs and alerts
- Maintain infrastructure for data processing pipelines
- Design and implement infrastructure for new data processing
Details of work
- Develop and drive deployment and security of our infrastructure environments
- Experiment and develop a Continuous Deployment system
- Develop a policy and toolchain to manage user managed VMs.

Job Qualification:
- 3+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps
- Experience building customer-facing cloud-native systems on one of the major cloud providers using Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure as a code tools like Terraform, Opentofu, etc
- Good knowledge and experience with computer networking, and SSL.
- Experience in SLA/SLO definition and implementation monitoring SLI
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (For example Jenkins, Circle CI, Cloud Deploy, Github Actions, or any continuous deployment system).
- Experience working with Linux based systems
- Experience in software development for internal use (requirement gathering, designing, programming and maintenance) - preferred languages: python and golang
- Experience in working in a team loosely following agile methodology
- Ability to exchange requirements and align with non-SRE teams
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and willing to communicate in English
Preferred qualifications
- Experience building infrastructure using Terraform
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Grafana, Prometheus, LOKI stack experience is a plus
- Experience in handling GIS/Map data and services
- Experience with python scripting and dependency management.
Language Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2)and Business level English
