Job Summary
The Project Manager – Communications Delivery Practice will develop a deep understanding of the platform and the communication challenges faced by clients. The role acts as a bridge between clients, platform product managers, and engineering teams to deliver effective, scalable communication solutions. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with strong ownership of client engagement, delivery execution, and change adoption.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage both strategic and day-to-day operational relationships with key client stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related delivery, including ownership of escalations and issue resolution
- Translate client needs, problems, and requests into clear, actionable requirements, priorities, and timelines for internal teams
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on platform capabilities and how it delivers communications and customer interaction solutions
- Triage and manage incoming requests related to communications capabilities, including Phone, Ink (platform messaging service), and event-driven communications
- Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to identify, articulate, and prioritize platform enhancement needs based on client use cases
- Support engineering teams in delivering new and enhanced product features, with a strong focus on client-facing communications tools
- Proactively challenge clients to rethink how they manage customer communications through technology, driving innovation and continuous improvement
- Act as a strategic liaison to client executive leadership and communications teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and platform delivery
Job Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Project Manager in technology, platform, or communications delivery environments
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineering teams
- Strong understanding of technology-driven communication or customer interaction platforms
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently in a contract-based, individual contributor role
Japanese Language: Japanese Native level (JLPT N) and English Business level.
