Annual Salary: 5 million yen and above

Job Description:

• Company is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. You wil be in charge of development activities in Brake System and Vehicle Control solutions such as EBS (Electric Brake System), Air Management System, Vehicle Control system and Pneumatic installation, as a part of company Technology, utilizing and knowhow owned by the company.
• Company is a company known for its cutting-edge technology and product development in the commercial vehicle industry. As a member of Company development department, you will utilize Company experience and know-how to engage in the development and maintenance of electronically controlled brake systems, air management systems, vehicle behavior control systems, and air piping circuit design.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall development and maintenance work of Brake System, Air Management system, Vehicle Control system and Pneumatic installation.
• As a product owner role, this job requires strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholder in Company / outside of Company including suppliers, to lead cross functional activities in the development work.
• As a leader in your area, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the systems and components you are responsible for.
• This job requires close cooperation with a variety of stakeholders, including team members, Company employees, suppliers, and alliance partner Group, and therefore requires strong communication skills.

Job Qualifications:

• Design experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience using 3D CAD software
• Bachelor Science in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering background.
• Mechanical component development work experiences in Automotive industry. 3 years or more as guideline.
• Working experiences / ability in international environment. Or high motivation to work in international environment.
• Sufficient communication skills – Business level both in Japanese and English.
• Graduated from an engineering university or equivalent and have at least 3 years of practical development experience in the automotive industry.
• Able to work with overseas suppliers/partners. If you have no experience, you are eager to gain work experience with overseas suppliers/partners.
• Ability to communicate effectively with related departments.

 Japanese language: Fluent level Japanese (N1) and business level English required.
